Where there any traitors from the human army over to the SSR? In most (if not all) wars there are usually people who leave their side and join the other side, or, just try to stay neutral. If there were, what happened to them? are they SSR prisoners, were they (the small group of human traitors) allowed to live under SSR security watch?

Well, as for it is a genocide war, 99% of the humans are kinda forced to be against SSR even if they would like to be neutral.
There are some few traitors who hope to get saved if they give SSR vital information from the "other side", but their end is inevitable as well.

He looks like a young Wehrmacht soldier, but I believe it was the SS who fought the eastern front,right? Non the less, I LOVE your work.

Well, the uniform and all was being referenced from a Wehrmacht soldier. SS fought both on eastern and western front, as well as Wehrmacht - it wasnt front-divided. SS was the "elite army" of Hitler's and they acted in all extremely important operations.

The Wehrmacht was the German National Army before Hitler. The SS started out as Hitlers personal army that he used during his campaign for power. They were his elites that he used for all the (dare I say) dirty work, such as policing the rest of the army, "dealing" with spies and traitors, and some grusome things to other gruops of people. They were also given better rations, equipment and weaponry. The SS were the scary guys. But funny enough is that without that era, we wouldn't have alot the stuff we have today.

Yeeah, quite true.
In the end it was quite strange how they became a second army of Germany..
And thats the funny part, yes. Hybrid engines, jet engines, nuclear fission, rockets, all that was made to different use as it is used now.
